Stopped by for some food, yummy chicken sandwich, with a poutine

This is fast food place. But they have all you may want to eat on your way. Kids menu with spaghetti. Big portions.

Good poutine. Too much spaghetti noodles for the amount of sauce put on it. But was ok. Awesome ice cream hete

The small poutine with regular sauce is enough to fill a grown man. It was great, even though i didnt speak much french they were tres cool avec moi.

After a long day of driving, their poutine really hit the spot. Their menu reminded me of la banquise in Montreal, only the portions were for real men !! Service was fast. They also have a drive-thru. All in all, a must stop if you’re in Riviere du loup.

It was very busy. They could have taken the orders quicker. It’s weird they only have one cash. But the food was delicious and worth the wait. Ice cream on the other side was just as good.

The food was amazing!!!! However.......the girl at the counter, on the other hand, lacks customer service skills completely. There were 2 of us waiting for food. When my order was ready the cashier called out a number in French and she clearly knew it was my order because the customer in front had ordered a meal and I had ordered one item only. After calling my number she stood there with the most idiotic look on her face and purposely did not make eye contact with me but kept talking to the other French customer. (I’m clearly not French). I had to go up to her and show her my receipt to confirm my order was ready. Does the owner actually condone such poor customer service? Is this how you treat customers/tourists? In a world where reviews are so critical as a form of advertisement and marketing it would be beneficial to have your employees take a crash course on how to treat customers....especially the girl at the cash!!!! Imagine going to a foreign country on vacation and being shunned by locals because you don’t speak their language? Pathetic, right? Come on Quebec, it’s 2024!!!! Do better!!!!

Fun little spot for poutine. Simple and very English friendly Bacon, BBQ & original poutine (small)
